Roger Jones
Roger Jones is a historian of science who has long been fascinated by the way creatures move through the air. He is the author of The Mists of Arltunga (Greencup, 2019), a novel set in the Australian Outback between the two world wars, and Victor T. Vulture (Berea, 2017), a coming-of-age novella about a vegetarian buzzard. A member of Bluegrass Writers Studio (Eastern Kentucky University), Berea Writers Circle, and Northfield Open Writers, he is working on a short story collection based on songs by Canadian musician Stan Rogers and a collection of essays on alternative means of flight.
