Susan Mills

Susan Mills is a storyteller, advocate, and proud Kentucky native. After graduating from the University of Kentucky, she ventured to New York City and Los Angeles, where she worked alongside film & television influencers such as Bobby Flay, Jacques Pépin, Nick Turturro, and Dan Castellaneta (Homer Simpson). 

Fueled by her continued passion for inclusivity, Susan created the multiple award-winning DinoSprout Educational Book Series. These brightly illustrated stories feature a lovable cast of dinosaur characters who explore big feelings, friendships, and differences. Designed as conversation starters for children, parents, and educators, the books highlight exceptionalities like anxiety, autism, food allergies, ADHD, vision loss, and more – helping to create a world where all children feel valued and celebrated.

Susan is married to her amazing husband, Cameron, and they both passionately serve their community as board members of Thursday’s Child, Co-Executive Chairs for the American Cancer Society’s “Cattle Baron’s Ball”, and as strong voices for the Lexington Children’s Museum.
