Dr. Maria C. Rutherford
Dr. Maria Rutherford has over forty years of teaching preschool- through high-school-age students. As a college professor of education, she inspires and mentors teacher education students to teach to the whole child. As an author and influencer, she shares her story and expertise in social emotional learning, child development, and a strong pedagogy of hands on learning. Her real life service Goldendoodle Shiloh is often with Dr. Maria at book signings where she is known by her pen name, Dr. SonRia.
