Could you please tell us something curious about you and/or your book?
Perfect Day Kentucky includes one of the state’s oddest landmarks – the Wooldridge Monument, aka “The StrangeProcession That Never Moves.” Located in Maplewood Cemetery in Mayfield, the monument comprises 18 life-size stonestatues, all part of the same family and including the family pets. It’s a real curiosity and one of my most favoriteattractions in Kentucky.
Is this your first time participating in Kentucky Book Festival? If yes – what are you looking forward to the most? If you’veparticipated before – what was your favorite experience at the Festival?
I participated in the Festival a number of years ago with my book, The Secret of the Belles, and had a great time. I lovedmeeting and talking to the people who came to the Festival and seeing all the authors gathered together in one placealong with their books, which covered every topic imaginable. There was such great energy!
