Restored in Tuscany: A True Story of Facing Loss, Finding Beauty, and Living Forward in Hope

What will Kentucky Book Festival visitors find on your table?

A vase of sunflowers.

Whom do you invite to stop by? Who will benefit from reading your book?

Italiophiles, travelers, and lovers of Italy are all welcome to stop, but women who are at a crossroads, or who may have suffered losses, or are perhaps seeking the next adventure, will resonate with the book.

Could you please tell us something curious about you and/or your book?

I have survival Italian, but I am still learning. Ask me about my epic mistake.

Is this your first time participating in Kentucky Book Festival? If yes – what are you looking forward to the most? If you’ve participated before – what was your favorite experience at the Festival?

This is my fourth time to participate and I love connecting with readers all over the state and seeing author friends.

About the Author

Angela Correll is the award-winning author, whose trilogy of novels were adapted to the stage for the Pioneer Playhouse, and co-founder of the annual Good Lit Writer’s Retreat, Kentucky Soaps & Such, The Stanford Inn, the Bluebird Restaurant, and other hospitality businesses all located on Main Street of Stanford, Kentucky’s second-oldest city. Nearly twenty-five years of traveling to Italy with her husband and recently making a second home in a small hilltop village through restoring a former horse stable inside the medieval walls of a tiny town form the basis of her latest book, a travel memoir, called Restored in Tuscany: A True Story of Facing Loss, Finding Beauty, and Moving Forward with Hope.
