What will Kentucky Book Festival visitors find on your table?
WHEN JASMINE BLOOMS is inspired by Abigail Alcott, the influence behind Marmee of Little Women, about a mother who suffers a tragedy. In her lowest of lows, she wonders “what if” and wakes up in that reality.
My eleven novels explore intimate relationships, from romantic love to familial love that end in a hopeful way. I write romance and contemporary fiction, and I even write for young adults.
Whom do you invite to stop by? Who will benefit from reading your book?
Readers who love to read stories about complicated characters that contain heart and love, and ends happily.
Could you please tell us something curious about you and/or your book?
Growing up reading Little Women, I saw myself in each of the four March sisters. Now, I identify more with Marmee. WHEN JASMINE BLOOMS is an exploration about motherhood and what-if moments.

This will be my second time at the Kentucky Book Festival. My favorite experience was meeting my tablemate, who just happened to be an author I admired!
