Want to learn more about illustrating books for children? Do you love to draw as much as you love to read? Then join author/illustrator of the popular Randy the Badly Drawn Horse series, T. L. McBeth, as he leads a fun workshop to go over the basics of illustrating. No supplies needed–seating is limited to the first 10 participants, so arrive early to claim your seat. Once inside Joseph-Beth, ride the escalator downstairs and walk straight ahead to the “Barn” for this activity.
Don’t forget to ask a book festival volunteer about a free book voucher for kids 12 years old and under! Visit dozens of authors of books for pre-K through middle grade readers in the big white tent. No purchase or registration is required to participate in this activity at the Kentucky Book Festival on October 29.
